A group of eleven firefighters, both men and women, stand and sit in uniform in front of a fire truck inside a fire station. The setting is bright and the atmosphere is friendly.

About Us

The Fire Department was created in 2004 to provide Emergency Services to the northern portion of Gregg County.  The organization was initiated by a local family that felt the need to have a dedicated fire protection department in the area of Judson.  With generous donations, grants, and training the department has grown to what it is today.  In 2019, Gregg County Voters approved switching from an all-donation-funded organization to ESD (Tax Funded).  Since its creation, we have vastly increased our services.
